How Let’s Go supported Hand in Hand for Syria

How Let’s Go supported Hand in Hand for Syria

Richard Watkins, founder of Let’s Go, shares his story about how Work for Good has helped build giving into his business.

First of all, tell us a bit about your business

Let’s Go helps organisations of all sorts make sense of collaboration and get more from working in groups. We have a powerful yet simple approach we use with clients like Tetra Pak, Sanofi and Hyde Housing. Our approach helps leaders and groups have the better conversations that unlock team performance — and we do that through workshops with teams, training with leaders, consulting projects on complex problems and providing simple tools.

Why does Work for Good appeal to you?

I’ve always given some money to charity and Work for Good seemed like a smart way to carry that on through my business. In this instance, Syria was on my mind and as we’d just done a piece of strategy work for my long term client Aqualisa — it just felt appropriate to give and so I decided to do so in honour of that work.

How Let’s Go supported Hand in Hand for Syria

My team did some research and Hand in Hand For Syria came highly recommended for their work on the ground inside Syria. We were delighted with how easy it was to get them signed up to the platform and the whole team enjoyed sharing the gift with a long term client

What did the client say?

“We’ve worked with Richard and his team for a few years now and appreciate the support they give. It was a nice surprise to know that he had made the gift because Syria is obviously a crisis on all of our minds. From my point of view, it’s another little sign that Let’s Go are a business with their hearts in the right place.” Aqualisa

What the charity says

Let’s Go’s donation will go directly towards saving lives and rebuilding futures in Syria. We highly recommend Work for Good to all our supporters.” Bushra, Hand in Hand for Syria

What’s next for Let’s Go?

Our first donation related to a specific piece of client work. Going forward we are looking at how to build generosity into our work more systematically.
