First opening in West London in 1976, Rough Trade now operates four independent record stores in the UK including two locations in London (West and East), as well as stores in Nottingham and Bristol. We are also home to roughtrade.com, one of the best destinations for new music and vinyl in the country. We're super proud of the rich heritage and community ties our brand holds and welcome music fans from all over to delve into the racks and discover something they love.
With our stores situated in central city locations, the often desperate situation of homelessness is never far from our door. Never was this more apparent than during the pandemic. The fast-approaching winter months make the streets an even more dangerous place and we believe everyone has the right to a safe home.
Shelter carry out vital work to end homelessness and are a lifeline to millions every year. We're proud to support their ongoing fight to end the housing emergency.
