The Twelve Milestones of Work for Good
We’re sure you have heard of ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ song. This week’s newsletter features the lesser known ‘Twelve Milestones of Work for Good’!
Thousands raised for charity
The most important milestone of all. Work for Good provides a new revenue stream for charities that will soon raise millions of pounds each year, whilst also benefitting those businesses that participate. We’re already well on our way!
73 Accounts created
In just 4 months, 73 businesses of all shapes and sizes across the UK have created their Work for Good account.
52 Charities registered
We’re delighted that our list of registered charities includes major brands such as British Heart Foundation, Diabetes UK, Sue Ryder, WaterAid and Plan UK as well as smaller or local charities such as Red Balloon, Burgh House and The Walk Centre.
50 Projects completed
Work for Good projects vary from business to business as there are so many ways to do Work for Good. For example, some have chosen to donate a fixed amount for every new client they have worked with this year. Others have chosen to donate a percentage of each piece of work completed.
45 Sectors covered
It seems the Work for Good approach can be applied across almost any sector. Our currently registered businesses cover a whole range including: Branding and design, Recruitment, Business Consultancy, Market Research, Engineering, Beauty and Web Design.
15 Team members
Work for Good is a team effort. Our executive team members are: Rupert Pick (Founder), Danny Witter (CEO), Angela Newton (Business Strategist), Anna Cameron (Project Manager) and Andy Selby (Director of Business Development).
Our invaluable wider team are all listed here.

11 Businesses using the Mark
11 businesses are utilising the Work for Good Mark on their email signatures, websites, invoices and business cards to showcase what they’re doing and to help promote themselves to new and existing customers.
5 Office locations
We keep our overheads low by working remotely so our ‘offices’ span across London, Dublin, Petersfield, Grayshott (in a tree house no less) and most recently, Los Angeles!
4 Months since we launched
We launched our beta test phase in August 2016 and we’re so proud of how far we’ve come in only 4 months.
