Help us put early support hubs back on the agenda!
Hundreds of thousands of young people are struggling with their mental health – and too often they can’t get support when they first need it.
We know that the earlier a young person gets support for their mental health, the more effective that support will be.
That’s why we're calling for a network of hubs across the country, which would provide early support for young people’s mental health when their problems first emerge.
We’re demanding the Government commits to #FundTheHubs, with a national roll out in Chancellor Jeremy Hunt’s Spring Budget.
Now is an opportune moment for us to work together as a coalition to ensure that early support hubs are fully funded in 2024.
Join young people and celebrities by sharing and adding your name to our open letter.
We are louder together. https://www.youngminds.org.uk/support-us/join-the-movement/fund-the-hubs/
Here4You campaign - Six leading mental health charities collaborate to release film to help young people!
A new campaign focused on young peoples’ mental health which is launched on 25th January.
Led by entrepreneur, Robert Prevezer, and fronted by Roman Kemp, Here4You is a third-party campaign (which means it is not being commissioned, led or delivered by YoungMinds, but by an individual with his own campaign team). The campaign will be delivered through schools with the support of celebrities and streaming platforms.
The campaign aims to reach young people, particularly those aged 11 - 14 (as well as parents, carers and teachers) to let them know they are not alone, that support is available and where to find it. It also aims to raise funds for six mental health charities: Young Minds, Mind, Place2Be, The Mix, Joe’s Buddy Line, Mental Health Innovations (who manage SHOUT).
The website launched in December 2023 and is found here: https://here4you.co.uk/
