About us
The spotlight is on young people's mental health, today, like never before. However, if you need help, it's still much too hard to find.
1 in 6 children and young people suffer from a diagnosable mental health disorder. That’s around five in every class. But less than 1 in 3 young people with a mental health condition get access to NHS care and treatment. And these figures do not yet fully account for the young lives that have been turned upside down because of the coronavirus pandemic and the tsunami of mental health struggles we anticipate as a result.
At YoungMinds, we’re optimistic that things can get better.
We support parents to help their children through difficult times, we equip professionals to provide the best possible support to the young people that they work with, and we empower young people to change their world.
We would love for you to join us in the fight to create a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health.
