Winston’s Wish was the UK’s first childhood bereavement charity. We have been supporting bereaved children since 1992 and we continue to lead the way in providing specialist child bereavement support services across the UK. The death of a parent or sibling is one of the most traumatic situations a child can face, but with the right support at the right time children can lead full and flourishing lives. Our support includes in-depth therapeutic support in individual, group and residential settings. We provide training for professionals including teachers, doctors and social workers and provide specialist publications for families to read at home. We also have a national free phone Helpline where our experienced team offer nationwide support to those supporting bereaved children by phone, email and online chat. Our work has helped to ensure that grief does not destroy a child’s future.
