About us
Winchester Action on the Climate Crisis (WinACC) works tirelessly to fight climate change across the whole of the Winchester district. To reach the target of zero carbon in the Winchester district, we campaign for structural changes and run projects to encourage new ways of living.
Established in 2007, our work has never been more needed. Action groups - all unpaid volunteers - do most of our work. We have a great team with a wide range of backgrounds, including many volunteers with distinguished scientific and engineering careers. They are backed up by a staff team of five who do all the essential stuff behind the scenes. See our website for more details.
