Accredited Wilderness Therapy Training 2023

Our Wilderness Therapy Training is for qualified therapeutic practitioners who wish to connect deeply with the healing power of nature. We cater for those already working in the outdoors and wish to develop their knowledge and those interested in taking their practice outdoors. The course will aim to build skills, confidence and knowledge of how nature immersion supports mental health and wellbeing. All training is accredited by ITOL.

Training Dates 2023

19^th – 24^th June 2023

Location: Mann Wood, CM3 1PP

9^th – 14^th October 2023

Location: Chatham Green, CM3 3FE

Group size: Max 10 Cost: £800* per person. Costs include: 1-2-1 zoom meeting with the lead trainer before and after training and an internationally recognised ITOL certificate upon completion of the training. Payment includes a non-returnable deposit of £400 per participant which must accompany the booking form. Detail payment terms and cancellation are available under T&Cs on the booking form.

We create opportunities for those wishing to learn more about their relationship with the natural world and what they can do to protect it. The content of our Wilderness programmes aims to equip and enable people to acquire skills from within themselves to navigate their futures safely and successfully. Our Wilderness Environmental programmes include mitigation around nature, rewilding and sustainability with inspiring youth action projects, making positive changes for the environment and nature. Our Wilderness Education programmes include alternative education provision and curriculum based workshops for Primary, Secondary and SEN schools as well as our Leadership Academy involving team building and wilderness expeditions. Our Wilderness Therapy programmes support vulnerable young people and adults in personal growth, improved mental wellbeing and resilience, working with nature as a therapeutic tool to gain perspective and understanding.
