About us

TreeSisters' vision is a world where it is normal for everyone to protect and restore both the planet and themselves. We recognise the need to challenge the status quo and encourage and empower everybody to stand shoulder to shoulder in the climate fight for our beautiful Earth.

We fund a diverse portfolio of planting projects to restore ecosystems and livelihoods that support the restoration and creation of natural forest ecosystems using indigenous species, local knowledge and skills, and promoting women's participation. We strive to do this intelligently, appropriately, respectfully and successfully.

Since 2012, TreeSisters has supported the growth and development of more than 26 million trees across the tropics. Our projects support local communities and improve livelihoods, protect critically endangered species, and focus on gender parity and the participation of women. They are a direct and measurable way to restore the web of life and mitigate climate change.
