Exclusive Book Club: 1st October
A quick reminder that coming up on Wednesday, 1st October at 1 pm (BST), we’re hosting a special book club exclusively for our business partners. Join us to discuss The Spirit of the Rainforest: How Indigenous wisdom and scientific curiosity reconnects us to the natural world by Dr Rosa Vásquez Espinoza.
Growing up with the rainforest as her back garden, Dr Rosa learnt the lessons of the rainforest from her grandmother, a native healer in natural medicine. She went on to pursue a classical education in science, gaining a PhD in the US, but has always been pulled back to the heart of the Amazon. As a leading biologist in her field, Rosa continues to explore the region through a unique blend of scientific inquiry and ancient insight.
We know that with the pressures of work life, home life and everything in between, it can be tricky to fit in time for reading, no matter how much you want to. All we ask is that you do your best to read the book. If you haven’t finished it, or even if you didn’t manage to get started, we’d still love to have your voice in the discussion - but be prepared for spoilers!
