About us

TreeSisters has funded the ethical planting of millions of trees across Brazil, Borneo, Colombia, Cameroon, the DRC, India, Kenya, Mozambique, Madagascar, Nepal, Uganda, West Papua, and more. We're proud to fund a holistic project portfolio that makes a real difference! Each project is unique and has specific goals and impacts for its area. They all take direct action against climate change and integrate respect, equity, collaboration and connection into ecological restoration and conservation. Gender equity and women’s empowerment are deeply embedded in all our work, with our Restoration Strategy seeking to rebalance power dynamics, support connections with Nature, and uplift and empower local and Indigenous communities to lead the restoration of their lands.
