Rooted in Impact: Recording

The recording for our latest TreeSisters' event, Rooted in Impact, is available to watch, showcasing our impact over the past year, made possible through gifts from generous individuals and businesses like yours.

Rooted in Impact: Highlights from 2024-25

_After 11 years of reforestation projects across 12 countries, one lesson is clear: When local women and communities lead, forests thrive. Community-led restoration delivers higher survival rates, stronger biodiversity, and longer-term impact because it is rooted in local knowledge and ownership. _Ashley Tamburello, Head of Impact & Engagement

We would love to hear your thoughts! Please complete this short survey to help us shape future events and grow this work together.

Coming up on Wednesday, 1st October at 1 pm (BST), we’re hosting a special book club exclusively for our business partners. We’ll be discussing The Spirit of the Rainforest: How Indigenous wisdom and scientific curiosity reconnects us to the natural world by Dr Rosa Vásquez Espinoza.

Growing up with the rainforest as her back garden, Dr Rosa learnt the lessons of the rainforest from her grandmother, a native healer in natural medicine. She went on to pursue a classical education in science, gaining a PhD in the US, but has always been pulled back to the heart of the Amazon. As a leading biologist in her field, Rosa continues to explore the region through a unique blend of scientific inquiry and ancient insight.

We always recommend sourcing your books from a library, borrowing from a friend or buying second-hand. But if that doesn’t work, you can find The Spirit of the Rainforest available to purchase from our book shop, where we can earn a commission to reinvest in forest restoration and Nature connection.

Join us and fellow business leaders stepping up for our future, to explore new perspectives, discuss key concepts and find connection with Nature and each other. Register here!
