Transforming Lives for Good (TLG)

For the past 20 years, TLG has been bringing hope and a future for struggling children. From school exclusion, to poverty and holiday hunger, there are children across the UK facing some of the toughest starts in life. Our three successful programmes enable our staff and army of volunteers to reach some of the most vulnerable children across the country.

About us

TLG are tackling the most relevant issues for disadvantaged children today: holiday hunger, emotional trauma and re-engagement with education. Since COVID-19, TLG's community partners across the UK have delivered a staggering 500,000 meals to the most deprived children and families through TLG's 'Boxes of Hope' emergency care packages. TLG coaches have run 862 bespoke remote coaching sessions during lockdown for children. TLG have created 'Emotional 1st Aid' and 'The Emotional Rollercoaster'; resources, online training and webinars to spot and respond to signs of emotional stress in children and adults. Our 12 Education Centres have committed to provide in-depth therapeutic support for our students whose circumstances are particularly acute and whose education is in crisis.
