About us

The Roman Baths Foundation is an independent charity set up to raise funds for conservation and education work at the Roman Baths. The first project the Foundation is supporting is The Archway Project. Through this project we are:

  • Transforming the learning programme and offering more activities and events for local people and visitors
  • Creating stimulating spaces for schools and groups - the new Roman Baths Clore Learning Centre will provide a hands-on and accessible learning experience set among Roman remains
  • Revealing more of the Roman site to the public for the very first time
  • Enthusing everyone to explore our special city and discover why Bath is designated as a World Heritage Site at a new World Heritage Centre.

These new special places will open in 2020.
