About us

Enabling potential in children with neurodisabilities

We empower the children and their families to reach their full potential and take their place in the world. thepacecentre.org We want every child in the UK with a neurodisability like cerebral palsy - and their families - to have access to learning and life changing therapy, aligned with our unique Pace approach. Our specialist clinical, education, and therapy teams work with babies, children and young people from 0-18 to reach their goals, achieve their full potential and prepare to take their place in the world. We believe in every child’s ability to progress, no matter what challenges they face.

How do we do it? We do this by creating an individual programme for each child in our primary and secondary school that combines education, different types of therapy and support. We have developed 9 key areas that we focus on, enabling the children to increase their independence for life. Our Child and Family Therapy centre provides specialist one to one therapy sessions for babies, children and young people. We have increased our focus on delivering and raising awareness of early intervention therapy for babies and toddlers, as this is the point where we can make a huge difference to their progress.
