Stolen Minibus from a Day Centre for people with disabilities
The Garwood Foundation, a south-London charity working with people living with disabilities, had a minibus stolen in July 2023.
The minibus is essential as a means of transport for wheelchair users, people who find it very difficult to use public transport due to the severity of their disabilities.
The stolen minibus used to take service users to our activity centre, as well as on outings and to medical appointments.
Our goal is to purchase a fully equipped minibus that can cater to the unique needs of people with disabilities.
With your support, we can ensure access to essential services and enable greater participation in many aspects of everyday living.
You Can Make a Difference:
Please donate: Your contribution will help to replace this much-needed minibus https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/garwood
Company support: Could your business make the Garwood Foundation’s next minibus a reality?
Spread the Word: This was a crime that left the shell of our minibus in a field. Our goal is to help people to live a fullness of life. Please help. Please share our story.
Thank you.
