We aim to see a world without litter or plastic pollution, where nature thrives. We do this by encouraging everyone to clean up the planet, 2 minutes at a time. We take direct action to clean up, manage a network of clean up stations, connect and engage with communities, help people learn, and stay positive.

About us

The 2 Minute Foundation started in 2013 as a social media movement with our first campaign #2MinuteBeachClean.

Since then, we have:

Grown a community of over 80,000 individuals who take local action to clean up;

Developed a network of over 1,000 clean up 'Stations' across the UK providing the inspiration and tools to beach clean/litter pick;

Started 'Beach School' providing 'Ocean Literacy' to children and young people across Devon and Cornwall;

Delivered UK wide campaigns #2MinuteLitterPick, #2MinutesOfPositivity and #2MinuteSolutions;

And collectively removed over 400 tonnes of litter and plastic pollution from our Ocean.
