Become a Small Business Star this Christmas!

Everyone should be able to turn the work they do into good and this Christmas we want to help small businesses make a positive impact that expands far beyond their work.

The Small Business Star campaign will help businesses to raise more funds for Somerset Wildlife Trust and this year, Work for Good have a match funding pot of £50,000 to help make an even bigger impact!

Businesses simply pay in their raised funds, from 9am on Monday 6^th December, and Work for Good will double your donation* up to £250 per business, until the match funding pot runs out.

We shine brighter when we work together, let’s make this Christmas magical.

Dainty Bakes Charity Brownies!

We're pleased to announce our first pledge!

Megan, owner of Dainty Bakes, is donating £1 from the sale of her delicious brownie offcuts.

Barn owl web cam - meet Finn and Orla!

We're so pleased to be able to bring you a live feed so you can get to know Finn and Orla - a successful breeding pair of barn owls living in the Blackdown Hills. (Warning: it's addictive!)

We're delighted to announce that their 4 eggs have now hatched, and so you'll be able to spot some baby owlets on the live stream!

If we want to still see beautiful creatures such as barn owls in the future, we need to make sure we look after the places they call home. We hope they connect you to nature, entertain you and inspire you to take action.

About us

Our work over the decades has slowed the rate at which species have been lost, and we've protected important habitats in Somerset. But we must now take a more radical and urgent approach, and involve many more people and small businesses in acting locally for nature's recovery.

With your business, you are in a prime position to help us help wildlife by donating a percentage of sales from one (or more!) or your products or services.

The funds you raise will support nature's recovery across Somerset, and, we'll help you encourage your loyal customers to take action themselves by sharing with you our wealth of resources to help them put nature first.

We need to be bold, and act quickly. But we can't do this alone.
