Resurgo connects, envisions and trains people to ‘transform society together’ through high impact and scalable enterprises - we tackle social disadvantage through the power of employment and purposeful work. Our flagship initiative, the Spear programme was created in 2003 by a group of London residents who wanted to address the growing issue of social exclusion and youth unemployment in Hammersmith. Our founder, Tom Jackson, and cofounder Jo Rice created the Spear programme by drawing on Jo’s experience as a Corporate Coach, to help 16-24- year-olds facing barriers to employment into sustained work. We have been in operations for 18 years and to date worked with over 7,000 young people as well as launching two new initiatives; Re-work and Resurgo Consulting.
