Ovalhouse (Christ Church (Oxford) United Clubs

Ovalhouse is a lively theatre on the Kennington Oval, opposite the famous cricket ground. Ovalhouse has been known for its support for artists - professional and young people - for over 50 years - commissioning new work that responds to today’s social and political issues, and work that reflects the cultural diversity of its local community. In 2020 Ovalhouse will be moving to its new home in Brixton as part of the Somerleyton Road Project, an exciting community partnership that will see new homes, community and health facilities, social enterprises and our new, fully accessible modern theatre in the heart of Brixton. With our Patrons, Pierce Brosnan, Paulette Randall, Sanjeev Bhaskar and Jenny Sealey, all who started here, we need your help to set us on our journey and beyond!
