About us
Across the East of England, we run a diverse range of services for children, young people and families to improve the mental health, wellbeing and life chances of the people we work with and to ensure brighter futures for the next generation.
For 40 years, Ormiston Families have been supporting families experiencing trauma, poor mental health, marginalisation and lack of access to resources and opportunities. Each service we deliver has a holistic package of wellbeing support, tailored to the needs of each individual.
Our work with these families aims to prevent the cycle of negative intergenerational behaviours, improve their mental health, resilience, self-esteem, independence and reduce the chance of future children ending up in the care system, in prison or at risk of harm.
We take early and preventative action to support families to be safe, healthy and resilient: all our services help people to build stronger networks, learn from experience and feel in control of their own wellbeing.
Our areas of work include: Mental Health & Wellbeing Services, Working with Communities and Working with Families Affected by Offending
