Our charity’s vision is for Morecambe Bay to be an exceptional place to live & an outstanding place to visit. From Barrow in the north to Fleetwood in the south, we are the only charity solely dedicated to championing Morecambe Bay by connecting people with the nature, heritage & culture of this special place.
We believe the natural & historic environment of Morecambe Bay is under threat from climate change, unsustainable development & disturbance. We work in partnership to help solve these problems, giving people the opportunity to connect with and care for Morecambe Bay.
Our charity raises funds to help protect the nature, heritage, and natural environment of this special place and to bring about investment in improved skills, and health and wellbeing for everyone.
We want Morecambe Bay to be a place where the local economy provides healthy, happy, low carbon living for everyone, where nature is more abundant, heritage is understood, protected & celebrated, and our culture is thriving.
