"It is a really good collection of resources all in one place… really useful and informative and quick and easy to browse." - Visitor to the gateway

1 in 6 workers experience problems such as anxiety, low mood and stress at work. The Stevenson/Farmer review, Thriving at Work, highlighted that an estimated 300,000 people lose their jobs each year due to mental ill health.

We also know, from analysis by Deloitte, that there is a demonstrable cost to employers and investing in supporting mental health at work is good for business and productivity. Poor mental health costs the UK economy between £74 billion and £99 billion a year.

Developed in partnership

The gateway is developed by Mind and funded by The Royal Foundation, as part of their Heads Together programme.

Mind also worked in collaboration with 11 key partners from the world of business, industry and mental health to develop Mental Health at Work. They helped oversee and shape the development of the site to ensure it meets the needs of employees and employers across the UK.
