About us
Physical inactivity is responsible for one in six premature deaths in the UK - which is why our work is so vital.
Our focus is on children and adults in the most deprived communities who face the greatest challenges of inequality.
To achieve a happier and healthier city, we work in partnership with London’s local authorities and other organisations to provide opportunities for less active adults to be active and for young people to develop a positive physical activity habit for life.
How your donation could help:
• £10 could help a child access a free activity club for one day in the school holidays.
• £20 could buy a home activity pack to help a teenager be active at home.
• £30 could help a school bring in a coach to run an after-school sports session.
• £50 could fund a free place for a child from a low-income family to access a school holiday activity club for one week.
• £500 could fund the purchase of equipment to engage women and teenage girls with physical activity in a safe and non-traditional environment through our Space for Girls project in Worlds End in Kensington & Chelsea.
• £2,000 could fund interactive play equipment at a library or community centre to engage hundreds of families with young children.
