Our London Ambulance Charity supports the wellbeing and welfare of our diverse workforce. Over the last 2 years the commitment and sense of duty of our colleagues has never wavered. As an ambulance service they are first on scene, caring for patients, comforting loved ones and carrying the emotional and physical toll.
Support for our London Ambulance Charity provides wellbeing spaces and gardens at our offices and ambulance stations. It funds our staff Networks to recognise and celebrate our diversity and ensures our people can access a drink and a snack through our Wellbeing Trucks and Cafes when rest breaks seem impossible. The Charity is also building a Hardship Fund to support our colleagues who find themselves in financial difficulties.
Through our charity funded London Lifesavers programme we are aiming to recruit 100,000 community lifesavers and install 40,000 defibrillators to improve the health and life chances of people across London.
