About us

Legasee has been operating as a registered charity since Jan 2011.

In the intervening time we've grown exponentially to now host the largest, freely available, filmed oral history archive in the UK. From the beaches of Normandy, to the mountains of Korea, airlifting supplies into Berlin and clandestine ops in the Middle East we have nearly 700 personal accounts.

Individually every person without exception shares something fascinating about their military service. Collectively, the archive is a priceless record of modern social and military history.

Many of our veterans have provided personal photographs and furthermore, most of our veteran interviews have been transcribed.

We are always looking to interview veterans with interesting stories to share.
