Our Cost-of-Living Crisis Appeal; “Childhood Can’t Wait”
No-one is left untouched by rising prices, inflation and economic uncertainty but some families will be affected more than others and this will have a detrimental impact on children.
The early years are precious, formative moments in life and the cost-of-living crisis has the potential to be so destructive for many children and families. Childhoods can’t wait for our economy to recover. We need to work together to ensure that this is protected.
After years of financial pressure, many families have already reached their limit – this will push so many families over the edge. Parents are worried their children will be taken away because they can’t afford to heat their house. The poorest families need urgent financial and emotional support today.
