Thank you so much for your kind support! Your donation directly supports the work of Hampton & Hampton Hill Voluntary Care — a small but vital local charity helping people in our community feel less alone, more connected, and better supported.

From our base at Greenwood Community Centre in Hampton Hill, we provide free and low-cost services for older and vulnerable residents across Hampton, Hampton Hill, and surrounding areas of Richmond upon Thames. Many of the people we support are aged 70+, live alone, and face challenges such as poor mobility, long-term illness, bereavement, or memory loss.

Thanks to your support, we’re able to:

Offer one-to-one befriending — regular visits or phone calls that provide friendship and emotional support to people who might go days without speaking to anyone.

Run weekly social and activity groups that encourage connection, reduce isolation, and improve wellbeing.

Provide volunteer-led transport to help those with mobility difficulties get to medical appointments, shops, or social activities.

Offer a warm, welcoming space at Greenwood Community Centre for people to meet, talk, and feel part of something.

Support a growing network of 120 local volunteers who give their time to help their neighbours.

Every donation makes a real difference.

£25 enables us to match a new client with a befriender and carry out a home visit.

£50 covers the cost of a volunteer driver’s mileage and admin for essential transport trips.

£100 funds room hire and refreshments for a month of social activities at the Centre.
