Friends of Walker is an integral part of the Walker school community. Over the years we have raised much needed funds to ensure that Walker Primary School is a well-resourced school and provides enriched activities for children within the local Walker community. The charity funds a significant proportion of the school’s diversity & equality programmes such as Black history. This year we have started implementing long term project and phased delivery of a new playground which will benefit all year group children. We are planning on expanding portfolio of family fundraising events but also seeking donations to support long term projects such as „be fit for all” and „be creative”.

We have just had an amazing family breakfast event where we have managed to raise over £700 which will support delivering our long term committment to Walker community.
A great turnout with nearly 200 attending !
