About us

Flamingo Chicks is a fast-growing, responsive and effective organisation. Through our pioneering adaptive approach, which enables us to reach and serve children with even the most profound needs, we have become a leader in inclusive work across special schools, children’s hospices, hospitals and community groups.

Flamingo Chicks seeks to combat inactivity and isolation among disabled children and help children and their families realise their full potential. We do this through providing truly inclusive activities that are accessible to all children, creating greater awareness and understanding around disability and helping prevent isolation. We also provide a vital peer support network for parents, carers and families to bring parents together and build resilience. Through our high-profile campaigning we seek to break down barriers to inclusion and create real social change: we strive to create and advocate for environments that foster participation and community.
