About us
Feed The Hungry is an international humanitarian organisation committed to fighting hunger due to poverty, war, famine and natural disasters. Feed The Hungry works to reduce world hunger by establishing feeding programs following disaster relief with operations in 21 different countries worldwide. With our partner organisations, since 1987, Feed The Hungry have globally assisted in feeding over 420,000 children every day in 25 countries.
Feed The Hungry also provides disaster relief recovery programs through its network of community programs around the globe. Since the war started in Ukraine, we have provided humanitarian support ,through our existing projects in Prague, Bucharest, Moldova ; who then deliver the food and essential supplies into Ukraine.
Feed The Hungry also supports many facing poverty in the UK, through the work of Coventry Foodbank and our Community Pantry. It is a well respected charity working with the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our city and one of the largest food banks in the UK. Our network of 14 food bank centres across the city ensures the provision of nutritionally balanced emergency food at a time of crisis. These centres are supplied from our 25,000 square foot warehouse which is essential for the distribution of emergency food on a daily basis. This centre coordinates the collection and distribution of food, before being sorted and packed by our team of volunteers. On average every month, we send out 20 tonnes of food to fill our food parcels, and this mammoth operation would not be possible without our 300 plus volunteers.
