Enabling our SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities) families to access the wrap-around care services they need. Through working with parents & mainstream schools we ensure the right support/reasonable adjustments are made enabling our children to succeed. We also provide a free food hub.

About us

We work with families with ASD, Autism, Neurological Diversity and other Complex Needs (including Mental Health). We also provide a free food hub based in North Newcastle upon Tyne.

Areas we provide help and guidance include:

We currently receive no funding and therefore our efforts are often diverted to trying to raise funds to cover our core costs. We receive lots of donated items that we sell on eBay - this is a costly and time-consuming way to fundraise. We have so many items we have exceeded our storage capacity (including 2 storage containers). We are trying to raise funding to help us to open a shop that would help to provide us with a faster and more sustainable revenue stream.

Our Food Hub was introduced as a pilot scheme in November 2019 due to the high levels of poverty in the North Newcastle upon Tyne area. Demand has quickly increased and now with the Covid-19 virus we are working around the clock with a reduced volunteer force. We really need a van and a van driver to help us to make our collections from the supermarkets and deliver across the region. We are currently doing this using the Trustee's car!
