About us

We are a deaf-led organisation that exists to support and celebrate deafness. We provide a range of projects and services aimed at reducing inequalities and removing barriers for deaf users of BSL (British Sign Language), those who are deafened, deafblind and hard of hearing across Scotland and the South of England. We have been at the forefront of positive change within the deaf community for over 185 years, making us the oldest deaf charity in the world!
