About us
The work of our organisation is targeted at Bacup, and Rossendale Valley in Lancashire with projects that engage with the community at large paid for by grants, charitable donations from sponsors and patrons. With the aim of providing a public benefit to urban or rural regeneration areas of social and economic deprivation by education, work experience, training opportunities, provision of workspace, preservation of buildings and sites of local historic or architectural importance and the conservation of the environment.
Our key five objectives are:
To support the improvement of the physical, social and economic environment of the Rossendale Valley. To work to ensure the establishment, sustainability and well-being of the Bacup Community Resource Centre. To promote and sustain interest in the heritage of the Rossendale Valley. To act as a supportive resource for all parts of the community of Rossendale. To be a robust, resilient, effective and sustainable organisation, equipped to deliver its social mission.
