Join Team Ride in 2026 for an unforgettable 3 days of cycling

Ride for Precious Lives is our unique, 225 mile, 3 day cycle challenge which annually raises money for short and precious lives. Cycling from North Somerset to Cornwall, you will ride through challenging, but breathtaking, scenery and visit our 3 very special children’s hospices Charlton Farm near Bristol, Little Bridge House near Barnstaple and Little Harbour near St Austell.

This exceptional event attracts cyclists who are committed to ride between 70 to 80 miles each day on routes that incorporate several of the hills the South West has to offer! Are you up for the challenge?

Cyclists who have taken part before have been inspired by the children and families they met along the way at our 3 hospices. Together with our Care Team and family members that also take part, it is this that makes Ride for Precious Lives a unique cycle event.

There are just 115 spaces for this challenge and we ask each rider to commit to raising £1,250.

The RUN Barnstaple Marathon offers a flat and fast course, making it the ideal setting for those aiming to achieve a personal best. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or looking to take on your first marathon challenge, go the distance for your children’s hospice.

The brightest fun run for everyone

Calling all fun seekers, memory makers and smile creators, join us at Cornwall’s most colourful, family-friendly 5k fun run.

Rainbow Run is open to anyone aged 5 years old and over. You can run, skip, walk or jog with family, friends or work colleagues and be showered in powder paint at 8 different colour stations.

As well as making memories, you will be raising vital funds for Children’s Hospice South West. By taking part you’re pledging to raise £25 as an individual or £70 as a family. Last year our Rainbow runners raised over £114,000!
