About us
Change Mental Health's vision is a future where no one faces mental illness alone. We are a national mental health charity delivering non-clinical, person-centred support to over 10,000 people affected by mental illness in communities across Scotland. We provide in-person support across Fife, Tayside, Dumfries & Galloway, the Highlands and Edinburgh. We also provide national services, including our Advice & Support Service, and Young People's Programmes across the whole of Scotland.
Our mission is to provide transformational support for people, ensuring that everyone has access to the support they need, when they need it, and in a way which works best for them. We seek to change society by changing attitudes, fighting stigma and influencing government to ensure a better quality of life for those affected by mental illness.
The impact of your donation:
-
£100 can provide one month of one-to-one support for someone who needs help and guidance to build resilience, improve their independence and foster greater community integration.
-
£500 can help families and individuals caring for loved ones with mental health issues. Your contribution will provide a safe environment and respite for them to share their experiences and stories.
-
Pay for a day: It currently costs us £9,600 per day to keep supporting approximately 2,000 people across the country. We want to support more people with their mental health and continue providing transformational services. Your gift can help us achieve this to ensure a better quality of life for those affected by mental illness.
