CASBA Advocacy

CASBA doesn’t just listen to people with a Learning Disability, we give them their own voice. Whether it is about health care, money, protecting their rights, employment, crime or simply being part of our local community, we empower them as citizens. We have a well-established, trusted team providing expert services to those who need them most.

About us

Nobody should face life with a Learning Disability alone. Unfortunately, without charities like ours, who really understand the barriers they face, this is often the case. Over the past third of a century, CASBA has helped over 3,000 people in Birmingham to feel supported and better able to cope. We help local people with Learning Disabilities to live independent, happier lives. We give a voice to those who deserve to be heard. We tackle isolation and anxiety through advocacy, training and support, but also by encouraging self and peer advocacy to help people to improve their own lives.
