£150 could fund the vital support of a cardiac nurse on our Heart Helpline for one day, answering patients' questions and empowering them to better manage their condition and treatment.
£250 could help to buy around 6 months’ supply of tiny molecules that light up under a microscope – these are used by researchers to see what’s going on inside our heart.
£500 could help to buy human blood vessel cells, allowing BHF-funded researchers to study how our blood vessels work.
£1,000 could help to pay for everything a BHF Professor needs to run their lab for a day. Our BHF Professors are world-leading cardiovascular researchers in charge of busy laboratories, supervising multiple research projects. Your donation could help them answer some of the most important questions in heart and circulatory disease research.
£2,500 could fund a research programme led by an up-and-coming scientist for one week, in a busy lab and with their own group of young researchers.
