About us
Birmingham Dogs Home cares for over 2,000 homeless dogs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year at our rescue centres in Birmingham and Wolverhampton. We do not receive any government funding and it costs £2.3 million every year to run our centres. We are trusted by nine local authorities to rescue and rehomes lost, stray and abandoned dogs as well as reunite lost dogs with worried owners. We also work in our local communities providing education talks and resources, working with schools, hospices, retirement homes, scouting groups and community groups. Core to our values is providing the highest level of animal welfare we can for every dog that needs us.
