About us
We are a grassroots charity based in South London called BelEve UK. We support and empower disaffected girls and young women aged 8-18 to be the leaders of their lives and inspire the next generation of female leaders to be of service to their community. We focus on supporting girls and young women in developing skills and capabilities alongside giving them opportunities to broaden their possibilities. Our highly effective service has a high demand, which exceeds our current capacity to deliver. Through carefully crafted workshops, mentoring and events, BelEve bring individuals and groups together helping to motivate them, reduce isolation, combat differences, and build strength across communities from the girls who are at the center of these. Through our programmes, the beneficiaries improve their social mobility, life and career chances. We hope to continue this much needed work with your support.
Why the community needs us With statutory services being cut, what we do at the grassroots level is important for these girls who already feel socially excluded. Having a trusted space to grow and develop enhances their life chances and opportunities. We deliver a mentoring programme, career insight workshops, girls groups and events to empower the girls and young women.
