Technology Transforms Lives
As part of our focus on technology and digitisation, we have launched an exciting new programme, Technology Transforms Lives. A cohort of young people have just started their NQF level 4 IT training. In addition to the formal accreditation, each young person will be paired with a mentor from the tech industry who will provide career advice and guide them through the content of their coursework. This is our first mentorship programme and we are looking forward to seeing the results and whether we can transfer the model to other programmes.
Our Digital Commons are coming to life
The Digital Commons at our Uthando centre has been taking shape and is almost complete. This space promises to be a place of inspired learning and digital forward-thinking. The beautiful colors will compliment a fully packed digital and physical library where our youth can continue to grow and nurture their education through both independent and facilitated learning.
We would like to make these beautiful spaces a reality at all five of our centres. Please let us know if you would be interested in getting involved in this project!
