About us
We are the 186th Sheffield (Manor) Scout Group, and we provide opportunities for young people aged 4 and over to join us for fun, adventure and the chance to learn skills for life. Our group runs Hedgehogs (Early Years Scouting pilot), Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, whilst also providing chances for young people aged 14 and over to join us and become young leaders. Our group is based in the Manor estate of Sheffield and sees around 100 people on a regular basis. We were selected as 1 of only 20 groups outside London to pilot an Early Years Scouting section to see whether Scouting could be applied to the Early Years sector. This pilot was a success and will be rolled out nationwide later in 2021/22.
