Our whitewashed stone store and workshop on the main street in the beautiful royal burgh of Inveraray is a treasure trove of whisky. Some happen upon it quite by chance, others make the pilgrimage every year, but all are treated to a warm welcome and warming dram.
We’re a tiny shop with a huge knowledge of whisky. And it’s that knowledge, which has been gained from talking with our customers over the last 30 years, that makes us different.
We have a huge range of whiskies, from our very own blends and well-known malts to rare bottlings and irreplaceable expressions. And we’ll blether with you at length about them all if you happen to be passing our workshop here on the shores of Loch Fyne.
Whether you’re popping in for a browse, a chat or in search of a hidden gem you’ll be greeted by our friendly whisky enthusiasts and the sight of hundreds of bottles lining every wall from floor to ceiling.
These bottles hail from the Highlands, the Lowlands, the Islands and Speyside, but they all have one thing in common: they each have a wonderful story to tell and we’d be delighted to share it with you.
In June 2018, we opened a new shop in Edinburgh's Cockburn Street, just off the Royal Mile and a stone's throw from both the castle and Waverley Station. Step off the street and into our little home from home, bringing a wee piece of Inveraray to the Scottish capital! Hamish might not have made the trip to meet you, but you can be sure of a warm welcome from our staff who are just as keen as ever to discuss our favourite spirit.
