About us
Flanders Tribute was born in November, 2019, in a cold, frosty evening in London. Ours is the story of two friends, from different backgrounds, although both having in common an history of soldiers in the family that fought with the Allied Forces, or fought with the Resistence, in Italy, against the Fascism of Mussolini.
We are both proud of what our Grandfathers did for the freedom our respective countries. The stories told and shared among us made us realise, that we wanted to pay our respects to all the young lives, that left behind girlfriends, wives, newborns that they never been able to see, mothers, fathers, children, brothers and sisters that are still remembering them, and honouring them not only on Remembrance Day, but always.
We think is our duty to commemorate, cherish and share these memories among us, our familes and friends. To pay our respects, like the lone soldier in our remembrance poppy badge pays his respect by taking a moment to commemorate his comrades and all the fallen.
This year we are supporting SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity, with £1 for every pin or scarf sold. So if you will buy one of our collection trio commemorative badges, we will donate £3. One scarf = £ 1 donated. Our aim is to raise at least £2000 to SSAFA.
Thank you,
Flanders Tribute
