About us
By 2030, 4 million people in the UK will be living with cancer. As the number of people living with cancer continues to increase, so does their need to find support for the long-term impacts cancer has on their physical, mental and financial well-being. We support anyone affected by cancer, not just those with the disease. Maggie’s is a place where individuals, families and friends come to find relief, advice and immediate support in a very special and tranquil place with specialist cancer support staff on hand.
We help people with cancer to achieve the best possible state of psychological and physical health during diagnosis, treatment and throughout their cancer journey.
“For me, Maggie’s is a community. It’s people to talk to, it’s how to get through”
“You have been a lighthouse for me in a dark place”
Any given day, Maggie’s experts might be supporting people needing help with finances, or those wanting advice on nutrition or returning to work. Or they could be helping families manage the emotional and psychological impact of cancer.
Maggie’s operates across the UK from carefully designed Centres built in the grounds of major NHS cancer hospitals. This means we are at the heart of the local community and we can serve large populations across most regions of the UK. We have big ambitions: to be reaching 1 in 2 people with cancer by 2022, but we need your support. Please join us so that we can continue to be everyone's home of cancer care.
