Why small businesses should be part of your fundraising plans this Christmas

The festive season is an exciting time when many small businesses will launch sales-based fundraising campaigns to increase their charitable donations.

The spending power at Christmas is huge, which is why, for a large proportion of the UK’s 5.8 million small businesses, Christmas is when sales peak.

Get involved in 4 easy steps...

    1. Sign up to the campaign!

If your charity doesn’t already have a Work for Good page, sign-up for free. If you do, make sure it’s up to date and ready to receive donations.

    2. Get your team involved

Download the campaign toolkit for tips, ideas, social media assets and more - easily shareable for your whole team!

    3. Motivate your Small Business Stars

Shout about the campaign with your small business supporters, ask them to pledge a £ or % of their Christmas sales to you via the donations form - creating their commercial participation agreement - and share their fundraising campaigns!

    4. £50,000 match fund on offer!

We want to help your supporters double their donations and impact and have a match fund of £50,000 available! By paying raised funds via their Work for Good account, from 9am on Monday 6th December, your small business stars will have their donations doubled* up to £250 per business, until the match funding pot runs out.
