GivingTuesday with theBigGive
On 30th November 2021, Prama are taking part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2021.
We are fundraising for our Telephone Support Groups for Older People & Carers.
You can read all about our campaign here:
From 12 pm (noon) on 30th November - 12 pm on 7th December, your donation to Prama can be doubled. One donation, twice the impact! Match funding is provided by Big Give’s network of philanthropists, trusts and foundations, and businesses.
Join us on #givingtuesday @ 12 pm (noon) when the campaign launches, we only have 7 days to reach our fundraising target of £4,000.
We are already half way to our £4000 total, thanks to the generosity of our pledgers and their match funder. The Lake House Charitable Foundation have already pledged an incredible £1,000 to match fund our 10 pledgers, each of whom have pledged £100.
Many thanks to Jen Arnold, Sophie Ireland, Nick Johnson, Keith Lawmon, John Webb, Gareth Davis, Dave Briggs, Christopher Beale, Bob Henderson and Andrew Clegg.
Will you make the difference and help us to raise £2,000 in 7 days?
A massive thank you to The Big Give from Prama for helping us to provide the services that older people want and need.
"This group brings friendship, laughter, and joy of understanding what everyone has learnt through life. Each person has a story to tell." Edith "This group is a lifeline for me and John. As his carer the group offers me emotional support and as well it’s a great source of socialising/stimulation for John." Sharon
The Virtual 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon - Sunday 3rd October 2021
Will you Run For Prama?
The minimum amount that we ask you to raise is £100, but it would obviously be amazing if you managed to raise more!
On Sunday 3 October, all you will need to do is run or walk 26.2 miles between 00:00:00 and 23:59:59.
It does not have to be completed all at once. The only stipulation is that you complete the 26.2 miles on the 3rd.
You can undertake the activity anywhere you wish. You will be tracked by an app.
You will receive a medal and a T-Shirt if you complete the 26.2 miles on the 3rd.
Your awesome contribution will be going towards our outreach work in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and east Dorset – where we offer a wide range of activities and services which directly tackle social isolation and lead to increased personal independence, self-sufficiently and dignity, for older people.
Thank you for considering supporting Prama.
