Run For Prama

We have a number of charity places for The Virtual 2022 London Marathon, which will take place on Sunday 2nd October 2022.

We would like to offer you the opportunity to secure one of these places.

You will be able to secure your place with a £28 deposit. The minimum amount that we ask you to fundraise is only £200.

On Sunday 2nd October, all you will need to do is run or walk 26.2 miles between 00:00:00 and 23:59:59. It does not have to be completed all at once. The only stipulation is that you complete the 26.2 miles on the 2nd.

You can undertake the activity anywhere you wish. You will be tracked by an app.

Once you have signed up as one of our participants, we will provide you with support in managing your sponsorship and in preparing for the Marathon. You will also be provided with a Prama branded running top, to identify you as one of Prama’s fundraisers taking part in the Marathon.

You will receive the official Virtual 2022 London Marathon medal and a T-Shirt if you complete the 26.2 miles on the 2nd.

Your awesome contribution will be going towards our outreach work in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and East Dorset – where we offer a wide range of activities and services (including telephone friendship groups) which directly tackle social isolation and lead to increased personal independence, self-sufficiently and dignity, for older people.

If you are interested in securing one of Prama’s charity places for 2022, please contact our fundraiser Chris Wakefield via email chris.wakefield@prama.uk for more information and an application form.

Spaces are very limited so please send Chris an email to-day.
