About us

NWWT has long had a vision for ‘a North Wales rich in wildlife valued by all’, aiming to protect and create resilient ecosystems on land and in the sea. Our mission is to improve places for wildlife and connect people with wildlife: recognising that we are uniquely positioned to strengthen the relationship between local people and the natural environment of North Wales; and promote the value of the natural environment to local people

To achieve its aims, NWWT works with communities, landowners, local councils and others to protect their environment for the next generation. We campaign for Living Landscapes and Living Seas; manage 35 nature reserves attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year; run wildlife-themed events; and take nature to schools and communities across North Wales.
