What We Do in Yemen Our Areas of Work We aim to make a big impact on society in Yemen. We implement many projects and we need you to be part of these great causes. We serve the most vulnerable people in Yemen by addressing the root causes of poverty and empowering communities.
Orphans - £20 The suffering of children is one of the most difficult things to witness. Especially vulnerable to the effects of poverty and conflict, children are the hardest hit when faced with challenges that even adults would find difficult to cope with. We need your help to provide care and financial assistance to as many of these children as we can. Change an orphan’s life for just £20 a month or £240 a year.
Food - £40 Starvation is one of the biggest threats that people face in Yemen. You know that food is one of the basic needs that is essential to survive and to maintain the health of the individual and their family. Millions of Yemenis including thousands of children are severely malnourished. We desperately need your financial support to provide more food parcels to even more disadvantaged families and individuals. £35 will help relieve the suffering and hunger of a family.
Water - £10 We believe that clean water is the first step to get out from poverty and sickness. Therefore, we aim to provide clean drinking water to needy and poor families in Yemen. In Yemen, Drought and unsafe water are one of the biggest issues people are facing. Your donation will help provide a family with clean water and it will help bring life back to those less privileged and protect them from life-threatening diseases and epidemics. Give a gift for life for just £10 a month or £120 a year.
Education - £30 In Yemen, children cannot access education because of poverty. Education is a key that unlocks countless opportunities. It is a way out of poverty, a driving force for social change and an important aspect of personal development and welfare. Without proper education, the future remains bleak for the youth of Yemen. We aim to help orphans and needy students to learn and have a good education and to reduce the cost of education for the student’s family. £30 will help provide children with school kits and uniforms in Yemen.
Health - £25 Good health is the most important aspect of our lives and it is one of the best rewards that Allah has given us in this life, as you know that Yemen is one of the poorest country, the shortage of the medicines made it very difficult for the poor to survive from lots of illnesses. The roads to the cities for the villages are unsafe and very far to reach the hospitals in time if someone is ill. When there is a crisis in Yemen, SABA Relief provides humanitarian aid that often includes emergency health care and medicines. £25 will help us provide medical/financial aid for needy in Yemen.
Qurbani - £80 Our Qurbani project aims to bring a little happiness into the lives of many who cannot afford the basic necessities during the Eid Al-Adha period. We provide the very poor with probably the only opportunity to enjoy fresh meat with their families. Every year, SABA Relief carries out Qurbani in Yemen, on behalf of donors. Your Qurbani donation can make an immediate difference for a family who cannot get meat most days of the year. It can ensure a poor family eats well during the festive period. £80 Qurbani for Yemen to sacrifice and share the joy.
