Subsidised Neutering Saves Lives!

Subsidised Neutering Saves Lives!

💛🖤💛Our Subsidised Neutering Program https://forgottenanimals.org/our-project/subsidized-neutering is literally saving lives in Armenia as we write this! Thanks to our supporters, dozens of cats have been spayed and neutered since the 1st of August alone in the country already stricken by poverty with the situation worsened drastically by the pandemic. There are many more animals to go, and with every surgery, we improve lives and prevent the birth of hundreds of animals bound to suffer. Every donation counts, please consider joining our fight for animals today. 💛🖤💛

Subsidised Neutering in Astrakhan, Russia

💛🖤💛 Over the past few months, before the pandemic hit the world and put everything on hold, we managed to neuter 60 cats in Astrakhan, Russia through our Subsidised Neutering Program https://forgottenanimals.org/our-project/subsidized-neutering. Thanks to your support, hundreds if not thousands of kittens have not been born to meet their end in the harsh, suffocating Astrakhan heat this summer. Pandemic has not made fundraising easy for us, and we are genuinely grateful from the bottom of our hearts for every penny and every cent donated to save as many animals as we can from suffering. 💛🖤💛

Pasha's and Tami's lives improved after our visit

Pasha's and Tami's lives improved after our visit

We are proud to announce that Forgotten Animals just became еру ambassador for the #WorldAnimalDay in Russia. Thank you World Animal Day HQ for this honour!

Remember Pasha and Tami who used to live in small empty solitary enclosures in Almaty Zoo until our visit exactly 1 year ago? We brought along the international animal behaviour and welfare expert Hilda Tresz. Read more and watch beautiful video here: https://forgottenanimals.org/bringing-joy-zoo-animals-former-soviet-countries/.

After a few days of intensive training and seminars zoo management had plenty of knowledge and inspiration on how to improve the lives of their animals in a simple and affordable manner. While there, Hilda also put the two chimpanzees together fostering a smooth transition for these highly intelligent and developed animals.

Just look at these two now, in their new spacious enclosure with substrate and all those toys, enjoying themselves and each other's company! These are the precious moments we work for! Well done Almaty Zoo, we are very grateful for these amazing changes and progress for animals 🧡🧡🧡 #changeforanimals #chimps #forgottenanimals
